ACHIEVING HEIGHTS

July 2009 saw the innaugural Hinterland Art Group exhibition titled "Achieving Heights".

The title of the exhibition was chosen to reflect the activities in the Pomona region at the time, which included the annual Pomona "King Of The Mountain" fun run. This exhibition featured works by members of HAG (several of them first time exhibitors) and covered a variety of styles including oil paintings, acrylics, watercolours, pastels, mixed media, sculpture and collage. Large crowds in attendance for fun run ensured that this showing was a resounding success.

Visitors to the gallery were invited to vote for their favourite work:

Poppie Parade - Bev Watkin

Peoples Choice Award - "Poppy Parade" by Bev Watkin

Thank you to all the artists who contributed to the exhibition: Wendy Catlin, Lizzi Connor, Denis Dair, Jeanette Dehnen, Debra Dougherty, Alan Falls, Margaret Hardy, Clair Lait, John Lodge, Jacqueline Pearsell, Bob Silver, Marilyn Turner, Bev Watkin, Bob Rosewarne, Lyn Shaw and Donna Goossens.
