MISSION STATEMENT

The Hinterland Art Group Inc. is a non profit organzation, which incorporates various categories of artists including hobby artists, emerging and professional artists and persues the following goals:

• to promote creative arts and artists in the region
• to provide resources and advice for artists
• to provide a platform and support for emerging artists residing on the Sunshine Coast and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland
• to offer professional workshops in painting and other art forms for artists and a broader community

We care for our members, promote them and their careers and provide them with very specific help and services such as:

• participation on the website to promote their art / products
• producing a DVD showcasing artwork of member artists (distributed to visitors of the gallery etc.)
• providing help with setting up your personal portfolio
• participation at regular member meetings and help to shape an exhibition of your work at the Old Pomona Railway Station Gallery (under the conditions set up by the selection panel)
